About

Hi! I’m Amy Riordan. I’m so glad you stopped by. Many years ago, Jesus started healing my heart and setting me free in many different ways. A couple of years later, I started a ministry where I ended up spending 15 amazing years ministering to women who were wrestling with sexual strongholds, along with the shame and secrecy that often goes along with all of it. This is part of my own story, which fueled my passion to help others who were wrestling in similar ways.

Several years later, as I was continuing to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus, I started to realize that I was continually striving to be someone that I wasn’t. This was happening in just about every area of my life. Some of this came from trying to be who others expected me to be, but most of it really came from all of the expectations I was putting on myself. (No wonder I felt so depleted and frustrated!)

Many of us have spent years on this earth taking in what people, and even our own selves, tell us about who we are.
I started to realize that I was finding incredible life, rest, and peace when I was being who God actually created me to be.

This started me on a whole new journey of learning the way God wired me and ultimately being free to be me. This is where my passion to start Free to Be Me Coaching came from.

While I am a certified coach, I also have a bachelor’s degree in social work and am licensed as a pastoral counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association. I put a high priority on creating a safe place for my clients to share what’s on their hearts, to heal, and to discover who God created them to be.
